Richard I hope you will keep your watchdog eye on the DA's office...I credit your previous blogs on the office--going way back--for stimulating my interest in the current occupants of the office.
ReplyDeleteIt is up to bloggers to get the news out there since it seems that most is not printed any more, at least locally.

John - thank you for the encouragement and the courage to sign your name.

Brad may be albe to learn how to be a good defense trial lawyer, but he will go broke in Kerrville doing it, as only the underclass are tightly policed here. If he does becone a lawyer, I hope he deos not fall into the pattern of being argessive on the first meeting with his cleint and then reccomending a plea barginn on the second meeting, like most of the worthless public defenders do.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting, Kerrville Commentary. The news (aka gossip) according to local "Christian" bloggers that slanders, defames, accuses and destroys the reputations of local citizens, tabloid style? Take for instance your blog titled "Is It Muddy Water, or Just the Daily Times Reporting". Really?
ReplyDeleteThis is way some Christians behave, if not most.....especially when sex is part of the picture....that is the one subject that sends steam out of the ears....It was a happy day when I left that ****hole.
ReplyDeleteHey its really very nice thing. thanks for posting... it has made things a lot clearer for me.
ReplyDeleteThe "Muddy Water" blog or post was not on my blog. I tried to find it and it's been taken down. You're right, the author is one of the Ken Starr/Newt Gingrich types. If they can't win on issues and qualifications they'll dig in the gutter. Bill Clinton had some severe issues involving women and sex addiction but he was a good president - no wars, balanced budget, low unemployment. And it's funny that so many of the "culture warriors" turn out to be closet homosexuals, porn addicts and drug abusers - Swaggart, Haggard, Jim Baker, et al
ReplyDeleteThe post is on Kerrville Commentary's blog with a link to that other so-called "Christian's" blog. We will have to agree to disagree on some of Clinton's issues, although I do feel he did many good things during his tenure, including his admirable support of Israel. He definitely was not all bad. Besides, if any of the decades old rumors are true about Hilary being a lesbian, that explains a lot, right or wrong. I am in total agreement with you on these closeted homosexuals, porn addicts, drug users, alcohol abusers, liars, thieves (including those who do not pay their debts, taxes, bills, etc. and have their property foreclosed) and those that try to fill God's role as judge and jury. The more someone screams that they are a Christian, they are more often than not following Christ. These accusers and their children are usually participating in all of the very things for which they are standing in judgement of others. They prove this over and over with their behavior. Christian accuser is an oxymoron, as is hateful Christian. These bloggers that call out for justice and speak about truth as if they know what that truth is are the poorest examples of a Christian, not to mention horrible examples of your profession. Innocent until proven guilty, right?
DeleteGood comment but I think a better way to say it is that "Christian accuser" is redundant, as is "hateful Christian." Not all but too many. It's funny - some of the smuggest people that I see all dressed up on Sunday morning have quit speaking to me - one woman who is part of the "upper crust" and backed Monroe actually mouthed something at me when I was driving past that from the expression on her face must have been obscene.
DeleteMy family was active in the Episcopal Church in Houston before we came here (Palmer Memorial, by Rice U.). I miss it. This place is Karl Rove/Pat Robertson territory, where being Republican isn't enough - I actually saw ads attacking David Dewhurst as a "moderate." Same as being Christian isn't enough - you have to hate gays, Muslims, people who don't believe that Adam and Eve were real people who frolicked with the dinosaurs.
You have observed very interesting details,Great posting..!
ReplyDeleteWomen are drawn to politicians. Women are especially drawn to tall, good looking politicians. They always have been, and always will. Politicians are risk takers by nature, and they will always be knocking off a piece from time to time. So what?
