This conviction seems very wrong to me, especially the 80 yr sentence. How do we bootstrap consensual sex into human trafficking? These women were street smart prostitutes. They very easily could have said "no", or gone to the judge and told him what is going on. They knew what they were doing, and now they are considered victims by the courts. Mark is very stupid and a really bad lawyer in every sense of the term. Moving the case to Wilson County was a huge mistake, as well as talking to the police and making incriminating telephone calls while in police custody. He violated every bit of advice he would give a criminal client. It seems government approved sex is a big part of the 21st century.
