2 years in prison each for suspended border agents
TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — Two suspended U.S. Border Patrol agents were sentenced to two years in prison each for violating the rights of four suspected marijuana smugglers in southern Arizona by taking some of their clothing and force-feeding them pot.

In April, a federal jury in Tucson convicted agents Dario Castillo, 25, and Ramon Zuniga, 31, of violating the four suspected smuggler's civil rights.

U.S. District Judge Jennifer Zipps sentenced Castillo and Zuniga on Tuesday.

Ex-prosecutor jailed in wrongful conviction case
GEORGETOWN, Texas (AP) — A former Texas prosecutor has begun serving a 10-day jail term for his role in sending an innocent man to prison for nearly 25 years.

Ken Anderson was booked into the Williamson County Jail in Georgetown on Tuesday for criminal contempt of court in the wrongful conviction of Michael Morton for the fatal 1986 beating of Morton's wife.

You'd never know the race of the thugs from the text of the article, but if you watch the tape about 1/2 through the reporter calls them "African American teens." I wonder what would happen if the attackers were white thugs? What is this country coming to when criminals can play "knock out the Jew" and the main stream press won't go berserk? If any minority group has ever been persecuted, it's the Jews. But blacks can get away with it.

Two of the motorcycle maniacs involved in the brutal beat-down of a Manhattan motorist also tried to attack his wife, threatening, “You’re going to get it, too,” prosecutors revealed in Manhattan Supreme Court Wednesday.

Defendants Jason Brown and Robert Sims allegedly tried to pull Alexian Lien’s wife from their blocked-in SUV and threatened her after Brown broke the passenger window. The Lien’s infant daughter was also in the vehicle.
