More on DEA Deal With Sinaloa Cartel and Silence by American Media

As a reader has commented, the silence of the MSM and the "conservative" radio talk show hosts (Rush, Beck, etc.) about the US Govt being in league with Chapo Guzman's Sinaloa cartel is deafening. The only radio talk show host I know of who covers this sordid affair is Austin based Alex Jones on Prisonplanet.com. E.g., see

Drug Smuggling DEA calls Marijuana Legalization ‘Reckless and Irresponsible’ - DEA desperate to keep blood money flowing, by Mikael Thalen here.

Only one day after court documents revealed the DEA to be smuggling billions in drugs with Mexico’s notorious Sinaloa cartel, backing up a 2011 report by the El Paso Times, the federal agency seemed desperate to keep its blood money flowing uninterrupted, calling the growing legalization movement “reckless and irresponsible.” . . . Multiple federal agencies drunk on billions in taxpayer money are in a panic as the general public begins questioning the drug trade’s real source. Attorney General Eric Holder’s recent refusal to prosecute HSBC, a bank caught laundering billions in drug money for Mexican cartels, dealt a major blow to the federal government’s credibility regarding the drug war.Several years prior in 2011, banking giant Wachovia received no criminal charges after they were found to have laundered $378.6 billion in drug money for the Sinaloa cartel as well.

Bill Conroy, from San Antonio, does a great job covering the underbelly of the so called War on Drugs. See, e.g., DEA Case Threatens to Expose US Government-Sanctioned Drug-Running - Pleadings in Federal Court Reveal ICE Undercover Operation Marked With CIA Fingerprints.

And Charles Bowden wrote a great book a few years ago, Down by the River, focused on the Juarez Cartel, run at the time by Amado Fuentes, and showed how the U.S. Government will not do anything to shut down the Mexican cartels because the Mexican banks would fail and take down the U.S. banking system with them.

If you want to read a story that will scare the hell out of you google "Juarez House of Death," which involved ICE agents in El Paso protecting a cartel thug who was participating in torture-murders with the agency's knowledge. E.g., from the Jan. 13 2014 El Paso Times, Former ICE informant arrested: Juarez 'House of Death' insider held in Missouri jail.

Gary Webb, a reporter with the San Jose Mercury, first exposed the CIA/Contra drug smuggling operation. The CIA and its lackeys in the MSM, including the Washington Post, New York Times, and Chris "Obama makes me tingle in my groin"savaged Webb so viciously he shot himself. At least that's the official manner of death. The book Kill the Messenger tells the whole story of that tragedy.

If the truth ever came out, we'd probably learn that our government is working hand in hand with the Afghan opium lords (like the Karzais).

Sometimes Alex Jones sounds a little out there, but maybe he's right.

  1. Yes, I agree the DEA's reaction to the legalization of MJ is yet another indication the forces that drive the DEA are limited to money and power. Very scary.
